Hi, my name is Sandeep
I first started at Harmony Homecare as a Support Worker, where I learned the importance of building trust and providing compassionate care to clients. After that, I moved into a role as an NDIS Care Manager for one year, where I supported clients with disabilities to access the right services and achieve their goals. Currently, I work as a Home Care Package (HCP) Care Manager, coordinating care for older adults and helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. I’ve been with Harmony Homecare for 6 years and have loved growing in my role while continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
1. What special skills do you bring to your work?
“I bring strong communication skills, empathy, and an ability to connect with clients and their families. I am organised and detail-oriented, which is important for managing care plans and making sure clients get the support they need..”
2. What brought you to Support Work?
“I have always been passionate about helping people, especially those who may be vulnerable or in need of extra support. I wanted to be in a role where I could advocate for clients, help them access services, and improve their quality of life. Care Management allows me to work closely with people and their families, which I find very rewarding.”
3. What are your favourite hobbies?
“I love cooking and trying new recipes from different cultures. I often go for walks or spend time in nature to relax and clear my mind..”
4. What do you do for your own wellbeing?
“I make time for regular exercise, like yoga and walking, which helps me stay physically and mentally healthy. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. Listening to music or practising mindfulness also helps me relax after a busy day..”
5. What do you like about working for Harmony Homecare?
“I really appreciate the supportive team environment at Harmony Homecare. Everyone is committed to helping clients live their best lives, and we all work together to make that happen. I also value the training and opportunities to learn new things, which helps me grow as a care manager. It’s a great place to work because I feel like I’m part of something meaningful, and I can see the positive impact we make every day.”
