This low, medium or high level of care will usually include a variety of care services such as personal care, social support,meal preparation, home care, support with administration of medication and appointment companionship. 24-hour care may be suitable if family members do not live close by or are simply not able to assist with care of their elderly loved ones. It can also be a reassuring option for holiday periods, respite periods or extended travel.
