Harmony Homecare’s care services are tailored to meet the individual care needs and requirements of each one of our clients. This low, medium or high level of care will usually include a variety of care services such as personal care, social support,meal preparation, home care, support with administration of medication and appointment companionship.
24-hour care may be suitable if family members do not live close by or able to assist with care of their elderly loved ones. This is also a reassuring option for holiday periods, respite periods or extended travel.
We can provide short term, temporary and emergency care support for those important people caring for older family members. Our expert team will ensure that your loved ones receive the best possible care.
We offer complete flexibility in our respite service. When you need that well-deserved break as the primary care support person for your loved one, Harmony will be there to assist – on your terms, not ours.
Harmony Homecare is committed to ensuring our ageing family members remain living in their own home and we also understand the importance of break times for both the caregiver and the person receiving care.
Extensive research suggests that respite can effectively delay and even prevent altogether the need for entering a residential aged care facility.

Home Care Packages
The home care packages programme is a system of subsidised funding provided by the Australian Government that is designed to assist our ageing community members to remain living in their homes for longer.
The packages consist of four levels;
Level 1 – basic care needs
Level 2 – low-level care needs
Level 3 – intermediate care needs
Level 4 – high-level care needs.
To receive a package an assessment will need to be conducted by ACAT (Aged Care Assessment Team) who will determine the package level that will allow the appropriate amount of care required to enable you to live a happy and independent life in your own home.
During this assessment process, you will be able to choose the home care provider of your choice that will best suit your care needs. That’s where we come in.
On receiving your referral, we will be in contact, usually within 24 hours.
